Functional Skills Support – Maths Amplifications
Here at Highfield, we understand the importance of keeping our customers informed and offering our support during periods of change. That’s why we’ve introduced a series of three Functional Skills Support webinars.
These 1-hour webinars are designed to support centre staff with the administrative tasks presented to them following the changes to the reformed Functional Skills qualifications.
Topics covered in this webinar, titled ‘Functional Skills Support – Maths Amplifications’ will include:
• key changes to the criteria
• how the assessment process has changed
• teaching points to get learners ready for assessment
• common errors learners make during the assessment process
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
By attending this webinar, you are entitled to an electronic certificate worth 1 CPD point.

The day before the webinar is due to start, an email will be sent to the attendee with a link to start the webinar and an opportunity to check that the device they will be using on the day is fully compatible. Webinar links cannot be shared.
