Recognising and responding to allergic reactions
This August we're holding a First Aid webinar to discuss the importance of being able to be prepared to respond to an allergic reaction. Our speaker is Amena Warner, Head of Clinical Services at Allergy UK. Amena was a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Immunology and Allergy at an NHS Hospital Trust before joining Allergy UK and has a wealth of experience when it comes to allergies.
During the webinar on 15 August at 10:00 GMT, the topics will include:
· what is Allergy?
· signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction
· what is Anaphylaxis and how to recognise it
· how is Anaphylaxis treated and what do I need to do?
Following the 45-minute presentation, there will be a short break and plenty of time for a live Q&A session with our speaker.
Attendees will receive a digital certificate worth 1.5 CPD points.

You will require Google Chrome as your default browser and a reliable internet connection in order to access all features of the webinar so we advise using a PC or laptop on the day.
