Highfield's First-Aid Qualification Assessor and IQA Training event is unlike any other CPD activity. The certificate gained by completing this one-day event also enables the holder to fulfil the role of an assessor and internal quality assurer for regulated first-aid qualifications and is formally recognised by the industry and awarding organisations alike.

The event provides an opportunity to ask our expert any questions you may have, as well as providing networking opportunities with other professionals in your area. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Topics covered during the day include:

A brief overview of Highfield's suite of first-aid qualifications

Updates on paediatric first aid and autoinjectors

An introduction to Highfield's assessment packs

Roles and responsibilities of the assessor and practical exercise

Roles and responsibilities of the internal quality assurer and IQA practical exercise

Roles and responsibilities of the external quality assurer

Registration with refreshments will take place from 9am with the session starting at 9.30am. We estimate a finish time of approximately 4.30pm.

Attendance at this event will entitle you to 6 CPD points.

For quality and monitoring purposes, we currently record all CPD events.

Important note: our Highfield Regulated First-Aid Qualification Assessor and IQA Training events follow the guidance issued by Skills For Health and act as formal first-aid CPD training, as opposed to previous first-aid orientation sessions, which were designed to introduce current and prospective first-aid centres to Highfield paperwork.

This is a chargeable event.

It is an absolute pleasure to run events for our customers and there is nothing we like more than to meet up with you on these days. However, we need to maximise attendance and therefore have to charge for late cancellation and non-attendance.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

1. Please send cancellation details to events@highfield.co.uk. We request that delegates inform us of cancellations as soon as possible so that we can attempt to reallocate the place to a person on our waiting list.

2. If you notify us of your cancellation more than 2 weeks prior to the event then we will provide a full refund or transfer your booking to an alternative Highfield event.

3. If you notify us of your cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the event then the full cost will be payable.

4. Where you have booked a place at an event and do not attend then the full event cost will be payable.
