Introducing Highfield Core

Date: Thursday 6th May 2021 (06/05/2021)
Time: 10:00AM - 11:00AM

NO REMAINING SPACES

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Functional Skills assessment platform, Highfield Core.

Designed as a user-friendly, web-based platform, Highfield Core will allow your learners to navigate their own online assessments with ease.

Mock Assessments

You and your learners will soon be able to access the platform and carry out mock assessments to ensure you are suitably prepared for a smooth transition. You will also have access to a tutorial for both English and Maths exams, which will demonstrate how to use the different features learners may need to use during their exams.

Final Assessment and Booking Dates

The final assessment date for assessments on the current Surpass platform, including SecureClient, is 28 May 2021, after which, all assessments must be taken on Highfield Core.

The final date for booking Surpass assessments is 21 May 2021.

Remote invigilation

The booking form for Remote Invigilated Functional Skills exams must be received by 21 May 2021 to ensure they are booked for the Surpass platform. When sending your booking requests through, please note which platform you would like the assessment to be booked for. We have created a new booking form for you to use: www.highfieldqualifications.com/distance-learning/book-now

Any requests received by ribookings@highfield.co.uk for exam bookings dated 29 May 2021 onwards will not be booked until w/c 17 May 2021. Unless we confirm otherwise, all learners will be booked on to their first preferred date, so you can confirm the date to the learner and let them know to expect their confirmation emails next month.

Resits

Any resit taking place on Highfield Core (where the original exam was taken on Surpass) must be booked by Highfield. To book these, please contact your account manager.

Webinars

We are running a FREE webinar to demonstrate the new Highfield Core platform on Thursday 6 May and Thursday 13 May.

The webinar is expected to run for around an hour and will including plenty of time for questions, putting our experts at your fingertips.

Be sure to check the system requirements on your device to avoid any connection issues on the day.

You will require google chrome as your default browser and a reliable internet connection in order to access all features of the webinar. We advise using a PC or laptop on the day.

After your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from customercare@gotowebinar.com including your unique link to join the webinar on the day.

You must not share your unique webinar link with anyone. Sharing links will result in the attendees experiencing audio and visual issues during the presentation.

Only one link can be created per email address. So if you are booking for several attendees, please provide a unique email address for each attendee.

For quality and monitoring purposes, we record all of our webinars and CPD events. By joining, you give consent for this recording and it’s use on external platforms.

We aim to upload all recordings of our webinars to our YouTube channel: The Highfield Group. Subscribe to The Highfield Group on YouTube and switch on alerts to receive a notification when new recordings are uploaded.
